Our History

 

CC Distributors (CCD) was founded in 1906 as CC Hardware Company selling to Hardware stores, Ranch Farm Stores, and Lumberyard/Home Centers throughout Texas.

Today

Today, CCD business units include our Wholesale Hardware division, Janitorial/Sanitation division, Industrial Supply division, Integrated Industrial Supply division, and COCESS operations.

1968

CCD was awarded its first COCESS (Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store) Contract in 1968 at Malmstrom AFB. CCD has served the United States Air Force as a Prime COCESS contractor at 36 different Air Force installations for over 650 contract years in exemplary fashion.

At CC Distributors, we have a “customer-focused” business philosophy. Our staff is constantly looking for ways to enhance our product offering, service and marketing programs.

Our primary distribution center is based in Corpus Christi, Texas.

CCD won its first government contract at Luke Air Force base in 1974 for procurement, inventorying and delivery of supplies under the Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS) system.

Since 1974 CCD has accomplished over 400 contract years of distinguished COCESS service for 36 different Air Force Bases.

In 1995 CCD began its Integrated Supply System (ISS) business working with the private sector at NASA/Johnson Space Center followed in 1996 with KeppelAmFels, an international ship and offshore rig builder.

CCD has successfully operated ISS contract partnerships with Raytheon, BRWS (now KBR), CH2MHill, JA Jones, Tecom, All-Star Technical Services, Day Zimmerman, Parsons and others as an integrated “just-in-time” supplier for major DoD service contracts and private sector operations.

CCD continues to bring customized solutions to our customers procurement, supply, and logistics requirements.
